Situation: Florida DOT had a history of performance reporting, but the documents were dense with text, plainly formatted, and filled with text tables.
Obstacle: How to transform the data into a visionary document that was easy to use, well structured, and filled with stories to bring the data to life.
Action: Rethink the approach by featuring a few core measures and many supporting measures that helped tell the story for specific topics.
Result: The 5 new reports focus on mobility, safety, maintenance, economy, and environment.
